These are authentic, from Mexico hollow sugar skulls decorated with royal icing. Crafted using antique clay molds that boiled sugar is poured into, each one is a unique piece of Mexican folk art. While they are made of sugar, we do not recommend eating them!

Medium skulls measure approx. 5"x5"x4". Other sizes available (see separate items).

They come wrapped in wax paper. Due to their unique one of a kind nature, actual skull decorations will vary by color and style from skull to skull.

These are the real deal from Mexico - very difficult to source these days. Traditionally they are placed on Altars for Dias de los Muertos - the Mexican Days of the Dead. They are also taken to the graves of relatives and are even eaten by the children (we don't recommend this!)

If kept dry and away from ants, they will last many years!

These are VERY fragile items and while we'll guarantee that the skulls arrive in one piece, don't be alarmed if a few bits of royal icing decorations come off - they're just really fragile and there is no way to guarantee they'll arrive perfect. Unwrap them carefully!
